The 4th gen was a very nice mic for the money while the new Signature is unfortunately headed back to the old Rode briashness that their even earlier mics had.

My Blue Yeti is from 2013, and it's definitely showing its age. I think mine in particular just isn't holding up so I'm looking for a great replacement. I also have a bigger budget now as well so that should help.

2:50 I'd relate aperture width or Fstops to gauge size, since a lot of guys probably know that from working with machines, wires, screws/bolts, or guns. The smaller the gauge number, the larger the size. E.g. 12 gauge vs. 20 gauge. A 12 gauge shotgun shell is a larger size than a 20 gauge.

I went with 2 sm57s with A2WS windscreens, and A55M shock mounts, like what the President uses. Actually looks a bit like an sm7 on camera, and sounds just as good through a DBX286 preamp. Paid $80 each on sale. $840 savings compared to two of these.

Hello bro I need your help. I need a microphone arm and all the arms come to be added to tables but my table is made of panels and it is very thick and none of the arms I have seen will work for me because they do not cover enough space. I want an arm that is mounted on the wall. I searched on the internet but I only found one and I did not like it 😂 because I am looking for an Elgato style one, that is closed and the cable can be hidden. What do you recommend?

I’m interested in this lens! My 16-35 2.8 is starting to have focus problems, and I don’t mean auto focus problems. Even in manual focus one side of the frame is blurry, and lens repair is expensive. I do shoot with R6, and I do have a filter adaptor, mostly interested in this for Astro timelapse’s, I think this lens could be a good fit for me!

The only real issue I came across is lack of analog inputs, four is too low, five or six is what I need to have. As I have three mic inputs and a stereo input, where I am one input short, one mic needs disconnected if not in use. Maybe there will address this with a larger version, maybe a Rodecaster Pro III with better support for analog inputs and outputs.

I just had my PSA1's base just snap on me, i didnt know it was plastic material. I have used it for about 10 years so i guess it was eventually gonna break. Just ordered the PSA1+ and i hope the quality of the base is better if not the same

Nice! Just an idea if you point the camera down to catch less of the stadium lighting it should cut down on the glare and you might be able to see a little more of what’s going on behind the net. Sometimes that action can be just as exciting as what’s going on in front of it.

The difference in camera fed audio quality you may be perceiving could be due to consumer cameras typically record audio at 16-bit and the Rodecaster at 24-bit. The camera (Canon R5 for example) will always downsample any incoming audio source to its native 16-bit recording, regardless, even if feeding it a 32-bit signal.

My friend I bought this product is it good with Rode N T 1 microphone? I canceled (ordering the fourth generation Scarlett 2i2). Is it possible, after recording, to modify the sound from another program? When recording, does the sound not stop when the headphones are connected?

Regarding the stabilizer rattling when you shake the lens, I heard a tip from a photographer advising people to turn the stabilizer off, on their Canon 70-200mm lens, when the camera is on, before storage and transportation, because it locks the mechanism in place, and protects it from damage. Your lens is probably rattling because the stabilizer was left on before the camera was turned off and the lens removed.
